Cabron si Shobby s-au intalnit in anul 1999 in luna Septembrie ajutati de un prieten comun ( Micutzu ) . Fara sa discute prea mult au hotarat sa infiinteze trupa Codu’ Penal. Primele instrumentale au iesit mai mult sau mai putin bine dar baietii erau optimisti ca in viitorul apropiat numele Codu’ Penal o sa fie unul dintre pilonii hip-hop-ului romanesc. Pozitivele erau facute in studiouri neprofesionale si la momentul respectiv acestea nu s-au ridicat la nivelul asteptat de cei doi membri ai trupei si nici la cerintele caselor de discuri din Romania.
