Chitãozinho E Xororó
Chitãozinho e Xororó is a Brazilian sertanejo dupla or pair. Their real names are José Lima Sobrinho (Chitãozinho) and Durval de Lima (Xororó). They recorded the first album in 1970 "Galopeira", but only became well-recognized in 1982 with "Fio de Cabelo", from the album "Somos Apaixonados", their 8th work and sold more than 1.5 million copies.
In 1986 they started their own TV show, called "Chitaozinho e Xororo Especial", on Sundays. In the same year, they sang with the "king" Roberto Carlos "De coração para coração".
In 1990s Chitãozinho e Xororó recorded several songs of many artists, such as the Bee Gees, and with other sertanejo duplas. The song "Words" (sung in russian) was a theme from the Mexican soap opera "Guadalupe", and due to their huge success, the pair conquered the first place on Billboard's Hot Latin Hit in June, 1993.
