1. Turboslut is a Washington, DC area all-girl grunge/punk quartet. (www.turboslut.org) "TURBOSLUT materialized to resist the meaninglessness consuming its constituents. Ineffable guiding principles, the least of which any common musical purpose, converged in haphazard seance with the astral plane, and an order of four was born: unapologetic, lurching, recklessly honed. An unassuming public bore first witness in harrowing sagas of of collision hypnosis, incantation, and cryptic messaging.
