CRoSz
David Kriz a.k.a. CRoSz is a Czech producer, who has been gradually pushing music since 2001. His work ambivalently oscillates somewhere between deep patterns of the film noir and catchy electronica.
At home, he first gathered attention in 2005 with his chill-out excursion ‘Lagoon’, which stayed several weeks on the top of the SolidSession chart, in the company of artists such as DJ Javas, Yogi Rulez, Alef Zero or ZX Spectrum. His ambient-tuned experiments ‘Return of Saturn’ & ‘Supervisor’, were also received favorably, gaining good positions on NYC community server Internetdj.com charts.
CRoSz presents his stuff also on other platforms, e.g. CTGmusic, netlabels Wazzotic Records (EP Watching Behind) and Stroboskop.sk, net-based radio Last.fm and via various multimedia collaborations (FAMU CAS, 3rd Block's Minus, A/V 45 etc.). In 2006 David began his short cooperation with CM London (Visionary Underground, Asian Dub Foundation, One Samurai, Kyoto Moon…) and thus became the “Community Music Tutor,” who has been trained for teaching in the music technology area, especially Ableton Live platform.
After few years’ hiatus, CRoSz is now working on some new material.
