Free Magic is a Jaffa warrior who betrayed his Goa'uld masters because he saw something in Colonel O'Neill that gave him the courage to fight to be free. He was First Prime of Goa'uld System Lord Apophis and is the son and father of Jaffa warriors. After proving his loyalty to Earth, he was allowed to join SG-1 and has since devoted his life to the cause of the Tau'ri. He is one of the leaders of the Jaffa rebellion and dreams of one day seeing all Jaffa free of the enslavement of false gods, with all Goa'uld destroyed.
