Harry "Sweets" Edison and Lester Willis Young were members of the Count Basie Orchestra. Harry Edison (October 10, 1915 – July 27, 1999), born in Columbus, Ohio, was an American jazz trumpeter. Lester Willis Young (August 27, 1909 – March 15, 1959) nicknamed "Prez", was an American jazz tenor saxophonist and clarinetist. He was also known to play the trumpet, violin, and drums.
