My name is Javier Barrios Requena and I am a musician, composer & producer from Argentina, currently based in Sheffield, UK.

I am known for my calming and sentimental music, which is a mixture of simple guitar harmonies, natural sounds from different sources and software instruments. My main influences are Bossa Nova, Blues, Jazz, Folk and Ambiance. I produce and record my own music and play the guitar, ukulele, violin, keyboard and a variety of percussion instruments.

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1979, moving to a beautiful village in the Patagonian mountains when I was 16. When I was 18 I built a wooden, rustic cabin in the forest where I dedicated more time to recording and developing my own musical style.

After two years, I moved to a bigger city in Patagonia where I played regular gigs in different hotels and restaurants. During this time, I was able to play with musicians from all over the world and develop my knowledge of music from different cultures, which helped me to develop a truly unique style with traces of many musical genres.
