Assassins of Sound are a three piece band from the South West of England. Incorporating heavily processed guitar based soundscapes with short sharp busts of noise and melodic, bluesy melancholia. Assassins of Sound produce a unique feeling bringing together influences from artists such as PJ Harvey and Mars Volta through to jazz, metal and a host of electronic genres.
Their attitude to work results in songs with diverse, eclectic sounds, usually with no connection to the song’s original concept.
