Gérard Pierron, born in 1945, is a formidable interpreter. He sets poems to music and sings them accompanied by some of the best musicians, including accordionist Francis Jauvain. 'Petit Poucet' was written by 'cursed poet' Gaston Couté (1880-1911), whose work became famous several decades after his death.
