Here are the beginnings of the bluegrass-to-the-future genre that came to be known as new acoustic music. Tony Trischka, Pete Wernick, Russ Barenberg, John Miller, Lou Martin and Andy Statman collectively and individually revolutionized the possibilities for players of acoustic stringed instruments in bluegrass-based music.
