Flávio se iniciou na música há cerca de 20 anos e é um dos pioneiros do Blues no Brasil. Fundador do Blues Etílicos, vem participando dos principais festivais e eventos desse segmento ao longo dos anos. Suas experiências musicais mais marcantes foram tocar com Buddy Guy, Taj Mahal, Charlie Musselwhite, Howard Levy, Mark Ford, Sugar Blue, Mark Hummell, Steve Guyger e Paulo Moura entre outros grandes mestres.
