Blackleg is a drum 'n' bass and dubstep DJ and producer from Częstochowa, Poland. Educated on the musical styles of Jean-Michel André Jarre and Vangelis (Evangelos Odysseas Papathanassiou), Blackleg had his first exposure to drum 'n' bass in 1998. As a fan of electronic music, this was a sound he absolutely loved. In 2001 he entered "Made in Poland," a contest for young Polish drum 'n' bass artists organized by Sonic Trip. His track "Life Arena" placed in the top ten. The following year, his track "Monolith" made it to the finals.
