1) BRUTE - Death Metal from Slovakia. 2) Two of Athens, Georgia's most respected musical forces, Vic Chesnutt and Widespread Panic, comprise the powerhouse that is Brute. Chesnutt and Widespread Panic came together in the fall of 1993 to begin recording what would be the debut Brute disc, "Nine High A Pallet", which was released in the fall of 1995 on Capricorn Records. In 2002 a second album "Co-Balt" was released.
