Carlos de Nicaragua has been a songsmith, poet, musician, political activist for justice and equal rights most of his 50 years. He is currently associating himself with "Fair Trade" and has recently (may 12 2006) lobbied world leaders at a summit in Vienna for a better price for third world producers. He gives music the meaning it is suppose to represent, i.e breaking down barriers between cultures, religions and politics. He participate in the last album of Mano Negra(Casa Babylon)...which saw him work with Manu Chao.
