Building Bloc is the result of four New York City kids--Chuck Wild (MC, producer, DJ), Visuel (MC, keys, engineer), Tacit (MC, co-producer), and Auracle (MC)--realizing their common love of Hiphop and deciding to do something about it in 2005. Their unique and eclectic sound draws on influences ranging from samba to jungle to, of course, classic boom-bap, punctuated by lyrics as much at home in a poetry slam as in a cipher. Cameos by Chinaka Hodge, E-Class and Young Egon.
