Mc Créu (or just Créu) started in funk carioca music in late 90's, by that time he was named Dj Serginho da Costa, He rose to fame in late 2007/early 2008 with his super-mega-hit "Créu" (aka "Dança Do Créu"), A song he made after his young son.Now a days he is one of the most popular funk male singers in Brazil.
