The Shakers
There are several groups by this name: 1) The Shakers are a punk band out of Margate, FL. 2) The Shakers were an acoustic trio that became a popular group in the underground music scene in Nashville, TN, in the late 1980s. According to the group’s my space page: Formed in 1986, The Shakers (Nashville) grew out of a desire to do a quickie side project based on the Tennessee legend of the Bell Witch.
