The band begins playing together in 2001 in Ostrow Wlkp. (Poland) as a five-member band and since then experiments with modern rock-metal music styles.
The fourth C.A.L.M.'s ever live appearance wins a Grand Prix Award on XVI Annual Bands' Contest on Ostrów Wlkp. (POLAND) with "tons of on-stage energy and a brand new approach to rock-metal music". As a result of this success C.A.L.M. records their first demo album entitled "Pessimist" which consists of eight self-written, self-performed and co-produced songs.
