Pung
Jim and Jon Marburger, later of I Hate Myself, Burnman, Die Hoffnung and Gunmoll formed this band as teenagers. Var Thelin of No Idea Records played bass. Their earlier output was snotty punk concerned chiefly with drinking and STDs, but by the final 6" EP they had found a less typical niche in the punk rock world, with slightly less silly lyrics and a vocal style that veered closer to screaminess than the previous snotty whine.
