Paul Spencer & The Maxines
Formed in the summer of 2002, Paul Spencer & The Maxines are an American indie rock band, based in CT. Critics often compare the band's early sound to that of The Replacements, The Clash and the New York Dolls. They have released three albums, plus an EP: 2005’s "The Whole Shebang", which displayed the band's early punk/garage rock roots; 2007's power pop tinged "Cut the Jive"; plus an americana-influenced acoustic EP, "Either Sunset or Sunrise", which came out in August of 2008.
