Barry Bekker is a South African multi-instrumentalist songwriter who has created some inspiring and moving New Age music. Perhaps his most precious songs are "Kikuyu" and "Moonstone" from his Kikuyu CD, and "Gikundi", from African Tapestries.

Barry produced three discs before his tragic death at age 46, leaving a wife and young son shortly after emigrating to Ontario, Canada. His last work was a CD of beautiful soothing children's lullabies featuring Classical and synth-mixed arrangements entitled Upon The Wings Of A Lullaby.
