McGowan is an award-winning songwriter and in-demand music/art collaborator based in Brooklyn, NY.    Mcgowan grew up in northern New Hampshire where his father ran an old saw-mill.   When he wasn’t working for the old man he was playing baseball, card games and listening to fm radio - there was no TV! His newest album "American Regular" is a mix of his early rock n' roll influences - acts like the Clash and Creedence, Marley and Neil Young.
