For lots more go to: www.realpd.co.uk Real PD are a bedroom band with a small but loyal cult following, playing music in the synthpop idiom and with a pronounced lo-fi aesthetic. (To the unitiated, that means they sometimes sound a bit crap, but people like them for it). The band began in 1984 with founder member Alistair Cumberford, who joined forces with bassonist (oh yes!) Guy Wigmore and keyboardist and vocalist Mark Cahill in 1985 when they began work on their first ensemble album ‘Love & Stuff’, a classic of the bedroom pop genre.
