In early 1990, he started as a DJ in a club in Chiba prefecture. He formed a production team with fellow rapper DELI called AQUARIUS. He also worked with Namie Amuro's hip-hop project SUITE CHIC. In 2005, he finally made his debut as a solo artist named JHETT / a.k.a. YAKKO for AQUARIUS. To date, he has released two singles featuring Koda Kumi and Sowelu. His debut album worked with the likes of LISA, Namie Amuro, MICHICO, and the Heartsdales. His second album is expected to be released on the 24th of August.
