EL grupo TACOTENO de Minatitlán, Veracruz ha realizado una labor de revaloración y difusión del Son Jarocho.Sus antecedentes se remontan a los años de 1968-69, fechas en que los hermanos Noé y Benito González efectuaron grabaciones con Arcadio Hidalgo y Antonio García de León, siendo algunas editadas por el INAH y aparecen en los discos: "Sones de Veracruz", "Música Indígena de México" y Antología del Son".
