Jonas Schmid aka Dirty Cat is the first Filter artist to deal with the sensitive matter of 4-4 beats. He has a serious thing with all things electro, producing music with an entrancing effect. His songs are inspired by the sound of the eighties, but his studio approach is modern and keeps the club DJ in its focus. Dirty Cat is producing melodic electronic music with strong basslines influenced by the music of Fischerspooner, Alter Ego and Vive La Fete. His songs arise from momentary feelings, moods and emotions – suspense and eruption are an essential part of his music.
