Cynestole is a one man black metal project from Canada. The band started in late 2005 by 'Cyneric'. So far the band has had two releases. The first, "Past the Deepest Forest", was released in 2006 by Eternal Blasphemy Productions. The second release, "Mirkwood", was released in 2007 as a split with Mirkwood. This last album was self-released. Music from Cynestole is often labeled atmospheric black metal because of the atmospheric elements the songs contain. Similar bands to Cynestole are Drudk, Skagos, Coldworld, Depressor, Addaura, Darkspace, Appalachian Winter and many more.
