Cecilee is a piano-based singer/songwriter and writer from Virginia, born to a musical family that played everything from John Denver to classical music. She wrote stories and poems from an early age and began seriously recording them about three years ago using GarageBand and cheap microphones. She first released music under the pseudonym Ann Feld, then decided it was simply too confusing to have a stage name and in late 2012, rereleased her last Ann Feld album, Simplicity, under her real name.

Her style of music is primarily electronic (especially on "Laughing with the Angels" and her newer music), but can also include simple piano songs and French pop, since she is also fluent in French. Her influences include a little bit of everything: Kate Bush, Moby, Pet Shop Boys, French artist Mylène Farmer and Camille Saint-Saens, to name a few.

When Cecilee is not working on music in her own home studio, she works on writing projects, including an English translation of the Eugene Fromentin novel "Dominique," and her own story about two sisters named Elodie and Eloise, that will be released in late 2012/early 2013.
