There are 2 artists with the name Sludgehammer. 1.The trio SLUDGEHAMMER was formed in 1989 in Pittsburgh. They played some kind of noisy post-hardcore. They disbanded in 1991. Then members went to Don Caballero, Storm & Stress, Karl Hendricks Trio and Thee Speaking Canaries. SLUDGEHAMMER was: Karl Hendricks (guitar/vocals), Brian Welcker (bass) and Ian Williams (drums/vocals). 2.SludgeHammer is a grindcore/hardcore band based out of Gaithersburg, Md.
