Johansen, a member of Thyabhorrent, had been editor of 'Sepulcharal Noise' fanzine and an employee of the late Euronymous at his infamous 'Helvete' store when he bravely filled the awning chasm in the MAYHEM ranks left after the suicide of Dead. Johansen's stay was short and after a matter of weeks he exited to found PERDITION HEARSE."
