The Amateurs
"The word Amateur comes from French, and can be translated as "lover of", reflecting the amateur's motivation to work as a result of a love or passion for a particular activity." The Amateurs are a Midlands based band, gathering momentum on the live circuit.
Debut single 'Homesick' was released in March 2009 to positive acclaim from music critics and press alike. The band’s debut release was particularly championed by Kerrang! Radio, BBC Introducing (Hereford & Worcs and West Midlands) and was “single of the week” on inthenews.co.uk above major label artists.
