Aidan Baker and Kevin Micka (aka Animal Hospital) first met when they played together in Berlin (Baker’s current city of residence) in the spring of 2009 at a modest venue to an audience of perhaps five people…Despite these conditions, they recognized kindred audio spirits in each other and talked about playing and working together again. They got together again in November of 2009 for three shows: Boston (Micka’s hometown), Montreal, and Toronto (Baker’s hometown).
