It is rare when a bands name conjures up the perfect images to describe its sound. In most cases the listener is asked to attach their own meaning and imagery to a name, only after thorough listening. This is not most cases. The name The Northern Coast instantly begins to hint at what is to come. Coastal regions can be at once lush and beautiful, and other times barren, stripped down to the harshest of environments.
