Ο Γιάννης Μιχελινάκης a.k.a Lego Boy ξεκίνησε ως μέλος της ομάδας Cosmic Sound. Οι Cosmic Sound ιδρύθηκαν το καλοκαίρι του 1999 αποτελούμενοι από τους Γιάννη Μιχελινάκη (Lego boy) και Μάνο Σταματάκη (Isaak). Μέχρι τότε ο καθένας είχε την δική του πορεία στην ηλεκτρονική σκηνή μέσα από ατομικά parties και εκπομπές σε ραδιοφωνικούς σταθμούς. Η πρώτη εμφάνιση τους στο κοινό ήταν το 1994 και 1995 αντίστοιχα, μέχρι το 1999 που οι σπουδές τους έφεραν κοντά δημιουργώντας την ομάδα.
