The brainchild of guitarist and songwriter Wilson McQueen, the EP features classically trained violinist Skye (Sheridan), the powerhouse vocal of Zanda King, drummer and synthesiser maestro ‘Chopper’ and Chris Hanby an acknowledged bass guitar tutor who previously gained chart success with the band Mattafix. Also featured on the EP is Billy Fuller, a member of Strange Sensation, the band formed and fronted by the legendary Robert Plant.

Ebony Tower was formed in 1996 to perform and record music written and composed by McQueen, a songwriter and composer as much influenced by the literary works of both Shelley and Lewis Carroll as by the music of Led Zeppelin.

The EP DEAD PLANETS NEW STARS will act as a pre cursor to a full length album of original material to be released during September 2009. A live tour is presently being booked and this will allow audiences to witness for the first time the band’s visual and aural assault in their superb live show. Read more on Last.fm.
