Mosby was originally formed in late 2009 as a solo acoustic project by Travis Williams. Williams, formely of The Adio Sequence, was looking to take a step away from the loud aggressive nature of his previous band and create a more minimalistic style of music centered around an acoustic guitar and voice.
Mosby's debut album "The Sound Alive" took several turns for better and worse during it's conception. As creativity flowed and as the right musicians came into place, it was clear that this couldn't be just a solo acoustic project.
