Solatrus, which loosely means “Sun of Darkness” in Latin, is Jeremy "Solatrus" Iamurri, a 22 year old Computer Engineering major attending Michigan State University from Saginaw, Michigan, USA, who composes and produces music in his spare time. Music has been a part of his life since 1993, when he received a Yamaha PSR-230, which is still functioning to this day, as a Christmas present. To give a bit of an insight, two years after getting the PSR-230, Primus’ melody was written. It wasn’t until 2003, however, and after being introduced to a DAW (digital audio workstation) called Fruityloops 3.
