Group 84's name was originally "sex 'n dirt" which was fonetically same of the reading of "84" in turkish,but after that they've changed that to 84.The group is one of the successful rock groups in Turkey. "Brian May; 19 Temmuz 1947’de Middlesex’in Twickenham kasabasında dünyaya geldi. Öğrenciliği çok başarılı idi. Fizik okuyordu ve müziği ailece Hobi olarak görüyorlardı. Babası ile birlikte, Queen albümlerinde kullandığı ünlü gitarı “ Red Special”i bu yıllarda yaptılar. 1964’de kurduğu ve “1984” adını verdiği grubu ile ilk konserlerini verdi.
