BIOGRAPHY EVA AUAD - updated January 2012 Eva Auad (Eva Maria Awad, b. 1982) is an assertive soulful singer from The Netherlands. Her music is versatile, transcending strict pop categories, but her melodic and harmonic beauty give her a cross-genre appeal. Drawing on traditions, she looks forward. Eva knew by age 12 that music was her destiny, and as a pre-teen began a journey to express the rhapsody swirling in her head. She performed solo, in bands, and as half of a duo; sang covers and originals; landed festival bookings and radio gigs, and of course traveled the small club circuit.
