"Kaiju Daisenso" … Japanese for "Giant Monster Battle." It is from this notion of a great clash of evils that THE MONSTER PROJECT takes its inspiration: the terrifying against the horrible, the wicked versus the cruel, the gargantuan opposite the colossal. An evolutionary offshoot of the New York City progressive art-rock collective with influences ranging from Black Sabbath to Bernard Herrmann, the Project presents creative but faithful rock arrangements of classic monster movie scores.
