KATAGI
Born in Vancouver Canada, Katagi moved to Japan in 1998, where he founded the Japanese hip-hop
collective, Muragumo. The hip-hop collective put out a few singles that were well received
among the Japanese hip-hop community. Katagi disbanded Muragumo to pursue a solo career in
October 2003. Most of Katagi's more recent material focuses on the pain of break ups, and the
struggles of life itself.
