1. Thrash Metal, Brno, Czech Republic Active Years: 1985-1994
Brněnská thrash metalová formace Sax se dala dohromady v roce 1985, kdy v českých zemích ještě vládl bolševik. Sestava se kolem kytaristy/zpěváka Luboše Kozdery ustálila a v roce 1989. Sax nahrávají první demo s výstižným názvem "With Satan in the Body". O rok později následuje druhý demáč "Zone of Fear". V roce 1991 vydávají Sax u Monitoru první album "Zóna strachu".
