The Bell Sisters

The Bell Sisters

The Bell Sisters were a US singing duo popular in the 1950s consisting of sisters Cynthia and Kay Strother, who adopted their mother's maiden name of Bell. Their first and biggest hit, "Bermuda", written by Cynthia, peaked at #7 in 1952, having a three-month run on the Hit Parade,[1] and eventually selling 1 million copies.[2] They appeared in two movies, "Those Redheads from Seattle" and "Cruisin' Down the River," both of which were released in 1953.
