There are five artists with this name: 1.) Spot, originally signed to Ardent records, released their critically acclaimed self-titled album in 1995 and scored national airplay for "Moon June Spoon." While the band continued to tour nationally to support the debut release, Interscope entered into negotiations with Ardent to acquire Spot. Unfortunately, the deal ended up in litigation within a year, and Spot was forced to quietly ride out the remainder of a 5-year contract without support to tour or release additional material.
