Ghost Runner plays big wide epic rock songs about Greek myths and dinosaurs and oceans and planets and stars and radio waves. Based in Brooklyn and Manhattan, the three Texas natives--Chris Alonzo, Justin "Sleazy" Elliott and Justin "Junebug" Spencer--play an agressive, intelligent style of punk-influenced rock that’s at turns ugly and graceful, whispering and overpowering. Pulling influences from such like-minded virtuosic acts as Television, Built to Spill, QOTSA, Mark Lanegan and Radiohead, Ghost Runner specializes in long, intense sets of hypnotic rock.
