Started in Alfred, NY in the fall of 2002, Old Fat God is the the primary musical entity of Douglas W. Milliken (Ichabod Hate, Laceration Dick, Agenbite of Inwit). Synthesizing samples, drones, stitched-together poly-rhythms, noise-bursts, and various improvisions around loose skeleton compositions, the OFG has been slowly winding a narrative noose around the lives of a handful of (for the most part) doomed souls, among whose ranks include a disillusioned priest, a suicide pedant, and a pair of star-crossed drifters.
