Exray's slips through the genre cracks and past the time bandits to deliver an eclectic new voice. Jon Bernson and Michael Falsetto-Mapp specialize in lo-fi grime, undeniable songs and man versus machine experimentation. Throw in some precarious beats, voice mail vocals, plenty of short-circuited melodies and you have undusted pop gems for an imperfect future. A few Exray's songs have already surfaced.
