Ken Reeves & His Cross Country Runners (Ken Reeves for short) was started in the summer of 2007 by Jeff Kroeger, Max Joshua, and Murphy ward. The three musicians were bored at Max's house and decided to just start jamming. Murphy recorded the entire session on his voice recorder and the first album was born. All of Ken Reeve's music is entirely improvised and there are no edits made to the recordings, save for the cuts Jeff makes to divide the hour long recordings into individual tracks.
