Brainpower
Brainpower (or MC Brainpower) is a Dutch rapper born in Belgium (Gerrit-Jan (Gert-Jan) Mulder - Antwerpen, Belgium 5 februari 1975). His family moved to Alphen aan den Rijn, The Netherlands were he was introduced to hip hop and rap. In the early 90s he moved to Amsterdam, The Netherlands Brainpower whose career rocketed after winning the Grand Prix of the Dutch Talent Show in 1998. Together with his long time friend and collaborator turntablist DJ TLM (www.djtlm.com) he released his long-awaited debut album "Door Merg & Brain" ('Through Bonemarrow & Brain") in 2001.
