Perkxsoundlabs
perkXsoundlabs is the solo electronica project of Paul Rolan Perkes based out of Phoenix, AZ. In this project, he explores the intellectual side of electronica with strong influences from progressive trance, chiptune and progressive rock. Paul started his formal musical training at the age of four with piano lessons and he first became involved with electronic music in the early eighties. Soon thereafter he bought his first piece of professional gear, an E-mu Systems Emax SE.
